Announcing the availability of an enterprise video conference solution!


As part of Office 365, Microsoft provides access to the Skype for Business video conference service.  You can use your Lesley e-mail address and password to log into the service.  All faculty, staff, and students can make use of this software.

  • Group video chat supports up to 250 participants
         *High definition quality video is limited to 2 – 3 participants.


There are no additional costs to use Skype for Business and your existing username and password get you in.  Best part is, if you forget your Lesley password IT can reset it for you. Desktop Clients are available for PC and Mac as well as Android smartphones, iPhones, and iPads.  The software can be installed on either your work or personal computer.

Use Skype for Business from Outlook Web


Outlook web includes a web version of Skype for Business where you can set your availability status and send and receive instant messages from the people option.
*Video/audio conference and other advanced features are not available from the web version.

 

How To 


Sign In On The Web

  1. 1.  Log into your e-mail: www.lesley.edu/email
  2. 2.  Click your name on the drop down.
  3. 3.  Click “Sign in to IM”.

Set your status:



Send an IM 

1. Select the people tab.
2. Click the Directory radio button.
3. Search for recipient.
4. Click recipient name.
5. Click the chat icon on their name.
