Every 180 days since the last time that your password was changed, you will have to change it again. A few weeks before your current password expires, you will receive a notice from IT letting you know that your password must be changed.
The first message will let you know that your password expires in 14 days, and, if you haven't changed it in a week, the second email will let you know that the password expires in 7 days.
