Faculty, students and staff may borrow various types of media equipment from eLIS:
- Digital Video Cameras (HD/AVCHD with SD card, Flip and mini-DV tape)
- Digital Still Cameras
- Digital Audio Recorders
- CD and Tape Recorders and Players
- Portable DVD players
- Microphones (lavalier/clip-on, shotgun, and sound grabber)

Reserving Equipment (Reservations must be made in advance, to allow for timely preparation and inspection of loaned equipment)
Booking must be made at least 1 business day in advance of the date you wish to pick up the equipment (e.g.,a Monday pickup needs to be booked on Friday).
Equipment may be borrowed for a 2 day period (weekend reservations can be made from either Thursday or Friday until the following Monday). One renewal is permitted for an additional 2 day period. Faculty may request a longer loan period.
Equipment Pick-Up and Return
Equipment may be picked up and returned at University Hall, Room 3-048, Monday through Friday, 11 am – 4 pm.
Equipment Training and Instructions
If you would like to learn how to use the media equipment or consult which would best be suited for your task, we recommend scheduling an instructional appointment before your pick up date. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to request an appointment, specifying the equipment you will be using and for what purpose.
