Open Outlook and select Calendar from the list on the bottom left-hand side corner.

  1. In the section on the left-hand side titled My Calendars right-click on the calendar you want to share, and select Share from the menu.
  2. Select Share Calendar.
  3. A new email window will appear with the words Sharing Invitation: Your Name - Calendar - Share.
  4. In the To: field you can either start typing the person’s name in the field and it will suggest matches, or click on the To: field and find the person in the directory.
  5. In the Details box you can set the permissions for how much of your calendar that the individual(s) can see - Availability only; Limited details: Full details.
  6. Press the Send button. The person with whom you have shared your calendar will receive an email letting him or her know that you have shared your calendar. There will be a link in the email to directions on how to share the calendar. The person will follow the instructions for the type of Outlook that he or she has.
