The way that users are notified about their account credentials varies by user population.
Applicants
Applicants are notified of their Lesley credentials by the Admissions Office in the applicant's acknowledgement letter that is mailed out. Applicants are notified of the myLesley/email credentials in either the acceptance or deposit letter, depending upon to which program the student has applied.
Students (non-matriculated)
Non-degree students, or other students who are just taking a course get their credentials emailed from IT when they have registered for classes.
Threshold Students
Threshold students get credentials emailed from IT once the Threshold department has entered the student in Colleague with the Threshold student designation.
LUCAD Pre-College Students
Pre-College students get credentials emailed from IT once the Pre-College department has entered the student in Colleague with the Pre-college student designation.
Adjuncts
Adjunct faculty get credentials emailed from IT when Human Resources has added the adjunct record into Colleague with the adjunct designation.
Core Faculty and Staff
Core faculty and staff have credentials generated manually by IT once a New Hire Technology Request form has been filled out by the new employee's manager. The manager is then emailed with the credentials for the new hire.
Vendors
Vendors have credentials generated manually by IT upon request by the Assistant Director of Campus Services. The new hire's manager is then emailed with the credentials.
