Check our website for complete information about policies, requirements, and exemptions. You’ll find brief information below. Students cannot study, work, or live on campus until they submit proof that they meet Lesley's vaccine requirements.
COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement for Students:
Are you an undergraduate, graduate, or Threshold student? Do you study, work, or live on campus? If so, you must be up to date on vaccinations against the COVID-19 virus.
Not sure where to get a COVID-19 vaccine? Use vaxfinder.mass.gov to find COVID-19 locations in Massachusetts.
For more information on Lesley's vaccine requirements, consult our immunization information webpage.
Immunizations Required by Massachusetts Law:
All students coming to campus must show proof of state-mandated vaccinations. Massachusetts mandates that all full-time undergraduate and graduate college students submit such proof. Because we are in a pandemic, we go beyond that mandate to ensure community safety.
For a list of required vaccines—and how to submit proof or exemption documents—check our website.
Other Immunization Requirements:
Lesley has other requirements beyond the state-mandated requirements listed above. We also require documentation for Tuberculosis Risk Assessment and Flu Shots. All Lesley undergraduate and graduate students on campus for any reason must comply.
Medical and Religious Exemptions:
The Massachusetts College Immunization Law allows for limited exemptions. You may be exempt if one of the following applies to you:
- Medical exemption: When an immunization is medically contraindicated. Physician-submitted documentation required.
- Religious exemption: When an immunization conflicts with a student's sincere religious beliefs. Students must submit a written statement testifying to this.
Check our website for how to submit exemption documents.
