TABLE OF CONTENTS


Lesley University's Field Education and Placement offices support students across multiple disciplines in securing and completing their required field experiences. These offices match students with approved sites and supervisors, provide ongoing support throughout placements, and assist with professional licensure requirements. Services are tailored to specific academic programs to ensure students receive specialized guidance aligned with their professional goals.


Mental Health & Well-Being Programs


Counseling & Psychology Field Training

Supports all graduate-level internships in Counseling and Psychology, as well as matters related to licensure for School Adjustment Counseling, School Counseling, and the Licensed Mental Health Counselor license.

Expressive Therapies Field Training

Arranges field placements for students in Expressive Therapies programs and provides guidance on professional standards. Advisors support students in art, music, dance and expressive therapies.

Bachelor of Social Work Field Education

Matches Bachelor of Social Work students with approved internship sites and supervisors. Staff recruit field sites and supervisors to Lesley's social work program, as well as provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for concerns that arise during the internship experience.

Master of Social Work Field Education

Assists MSW students in securing approved internship placements by matching them with qualified field supervisors and community agencies. Recruits new internship sites, orients field supervisors to Lesley's MSW program, and provides ongoing support to students and supervisors throughout the internship experience.

Education Field Placement

Coordinates pre-practicum and practicum assignments for education candidates seeking teaching licensure and provides mentorship throughout placements.
