From the list of document templates, select Portfolio, then Blank Portfolio. Or, if you wish to create a professional program portfolio, click on the dropdown arrows under the Lesley University templates section to find the appropriate portfolio template. Once the desired portfolio type has been selected, click the green Create Document button the appears on the bottom right of the page.
Provide a title for your portfolio and click Ok. You will be directed to your portfolio where a blank page has been created. To rename the title of your portfolio page click the “edit title” link next to Blank Page. Sections are created on course pages to add content. To rename the title of a section click the “edit title” link next to Blank Section.
Since your first section is blank, you may add content to it by clicking the “click here” link. Begin typing to add text to your portfolio. If you wish to add a hyperlink, you may click the link icon within the textbox editor. To add images, visit the Insert Image tab and click Upload New File. Browse your computer for an image file you wish to add in which you will be given options to add a caption to this image, adjust its display size, and select a screen placement for it. Select Save & Finish to add this file to your portfolio. Similarly, to add files, visit the File Attachment tab and click Upload New File. For files already added to LiveText, they will be listed at the bottom of the page which you may click the Add button and then select Save & Finish.
To add a new section to a portfolio page, click the green plus button on the right side of your portfolio and select Text and Image from the dropdown menu. Click the Manage Content button if you wish to edit, delete, or reorder your sections. To add a new page to your portfolio, click the green plus button on the left side of the screen. Click the Manage Pages button if you wish to edit, delete, or reorder your sections.
