You may control the dates that your content is available for your students, including modules, folders, items, assignments, and more.

Scroll down to the Standard Options Section.
Make sure that the Permit Users to View this Content section is toggled to Yes.
Click on the checkbox located to the left of the Display After prompt.
Enter the release date and time that you would like the content to be made available to students.
Click Submit at the bottom of the page to save changes. This will hide the content from students until the date and time you’ve selected has arrived.
Using Adaptive Release to Set Multiple Release Dates for Content
In some instances you may need to modify your course module release dates in order to accommodate a student or group of students. To do so, you will need to use the Adaptive Release tool to create one rule to release the content for the one student and then create a second rule for the rest of the students. This way the content will be released once for the first student and a second time for the rest of the students.
Locate your module in the course and hover over it until the chevron appears. Click the chevron to open a menu.
Select Adaptive Release: Advanced
This will bring you into the Adaptive Release: Advanced area. ClickCreate Rule.
Give your rule a name and click Submit
Click Create Criteria to add criteria to your rule.
Select Membership to add a specific student to the rule. This rule will only apply to those selected.
Add members to your group. You may add students by user name or by group. Once you have added members, click Submit.
You will be brought back to your rule criteria page. Click Create Criteria to add the second part of the rule.
Select Date to specify the date the content will be available to the rule member(s).
Enter the date/time restrictions and click Submit to save changes.
Your first rule will have been saved. You will then need to go back and create a second rule, using the same steps as before. This time you will add the rest of the students to the rule and select a second release date. Once both rules have been created, your first student will be able to access the content early and the rest of the students will be able to access the content at the regular time.
