What should I know about “Cost of Attendance” (COA)?

The Department of Education defines your cost of attendance (COA) in a very specific way. Simply put, your COA is the estimated amount it will cost you to go to Lesley University for one academic year. If you're attending at least half-time, your COA is the total estimate of your

  • tuition and fees;
  • room and board cost (or living expenses if you don’t contract with Lesley for room and board);
  • expenses for books, supplies, transportation, loan fees, and miscellaneous categories (including a reasonable amount for the documented cost of a personal computer);
  • costs for eligible study-abroad programs.
