Library Syllabus Builder Discontinued June 30, 2023

Modified on Fri, 07 Apr 2023 at 11:29 AM

EBSCO is discontinuing the Library Syllabus Builder product as of June 30, 2023.

If you used the Library Syllabus Tool to integrate library readings (articles, ebooks, catalog records, etc.) in your myLesley course(s), you will want to save a copy of them to your computer for reuse in future courses. Once the Syllabus Builder is discontinued, your readings will no longer be available through the tool.  We recommend you do this as soon as possible, well in advance of the discontinuation date.

To save a copy of the Library Syllabus Tool readings to Microsoft Word:

  1. Open your myLesley/Blackboard Course
  2. Navigate to the folder that contains your Library Syllabus Builder readings
  3. Click on the folder, this will launch the readings tool
  4. Click on “See Current Reading List”
  5. Click on “Copy-and-Print Friendly View”
  6. Click on “Copy to Clipboard”
  7. Click “OK”
  8. Open a blank document in Microsoft Word
  9. Paste the copied readings into the document and save to your computer.
  10. Follow the above steps for each course and each folder of readings where you used the Library Syllabus Builder tool.
