Information Technology (IT) at Lesley University is the central department dedicated to supporting and advancing the academic and operational needs of the campus community. The IT department’s mission is to provide reliable and secure technology services, creative problem-solving, and excellent support that enrich the daily experiences of students, faculty, and staff. The department’s overarching goal is to empower the university through innovative resources and consistent technology access, enhancing learning, teaching, research, and administration across the institution.
Key Responsibilities and Offerings:
Comprehensive Support: IT ensures secure access to a wide range of technology resources, including wireless internet, email accounts, myLesley, LOIS (Lesley Online Information System), and the university’s digital learning platforms. They also maintain computer labs and classrooms equipped with AV and computer equipment for both Windows and Apple users, as well as managing device connectivity and password self-service portals.
Resource Accessibility: The department provides support for technology policies, network authentication, printing/scanning services, and assists with resolving technology issues from login help to software installations and repairs.
Device & Program Support: IT administrates the Lesley University Laptop Program, supporting device purchases and offering technical help for all university affiliates regardless of where devices were purchased.
Operational Guidance: The department publishes and enforces technology policies (such as the Acceptable Use Policy, Data Security Protocols), and offers step-by-step guidance on using core services like Zoom, setting up multi-factor authentication, and changing display names.
Hybrid and In-Person Service: Staff work a hybrid schedule, ensuring both remote and in-person help is available throughout the academic year.

- Sherrill Hall: Open Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.
- University Hall (1st floor, back of Student Lounge): Also open Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.
- Summer Hours (June through mid-August): Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–5 PM; Friday, 9 AM–12:30 PM.
