The Undergraduate Internship Office is dedicated to assisting and supporting you in securing internship placements. We work to ensure that you have the best possible experience by directing you to internship opportunities that match your interests and professional goals.


When are we available?

The Undergraduate Internship Office is available Monday–Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering meetings both remotely and in-person.


How would you connect with an Internship Advisor?

Our Internship Office, ls dedicated to assisting and supporting you in securing internship placements and ensuring that you have the best possible experience. We are currently primarily offering Zoom meetings but are also available for in-person meetings on campus.


Why would you contact us?

Students exploring internship opportunities are required to meet with a member of the internship office to receive personalized guidance on identifying, securing, and successfully completing your internship while ensuring all program requirements are met. Internship opportunities are available during your sophomore, junior, and senior years. Schedule a meeting with the Internship Office to get started.

Frequently Asked Questions


Are all internships in person?

Most internships are in person. However, we currently have interesting remote and hybrid internships available, as well.


How many internships are required?

The number of internships and hours required to intern are dependent on your major.


How many hours will my internship be?

Internship hourly requirements are dependent on your major and internship level. Typically, internships require 30 internship hours per academic credit (i.e. 3 credits=90 hours).


When is it best for me to start my internship search?

You should contact the Internship Office early in the semester before you plan on interning. So, for a summer or fall internship, contact the Internship Office in early March; for a spring internship contact the Internship Office in early October.


How will my internship be supported?

You will be enrolled in a concurrent course. The instructor for the course will support you along with your internship site supervisor, and the Internship Office.


If I am an international student in F-1 status, what do I need to do?

Contact International Student Services at iss@lesley.edu for more information and to obtain a new I-20 to authorize off-campus internship participation.
