Overview
Whiteboards play an important role in our learning and collaboration spaces. They help instructors teach, students brainstorm, and groups plan and solve problems together. To keep these resources useful and ready for the next class or meeting, we ask that all community members erase whiteboards fully after use.
Leaving writing behind can delay the next group and creates unnecessary cleanup work for others. A clean board supports an efficient, welcoming, and professional environment for everyone.

What to Do?
Before leaving the room:
Erase all writing, drawings, and notes
Use board cleaner (if available) for stubborn marks
Recap and return markers and erasers to the tray
Dispose of used tissues or cleaning wipes
Why This Matters?
Supports learning & collaboration: Ensures the next class or group starts with a clean slate
Shows respect for shared spaces: We all benefit from a clean, ready-to-use environment
Protects equipment: Regular erasing prevents ghosting and prolongs whiteboard life
Additional Notes
Please avoid using permanent markers on whiteboards
If supplies are missing or a board requires deep cleaning, please submit a ticket so we can address it promptly.
