About the Career Resource Center

The Career Resource Center (CRC) helps students and alumni set career goals, develop résumés, prepare for interviews, and search for part-time student jobs, professional employment, summer jobs, and internships. Career coaches meet with students in person and virtually to discuss:

  • career options, exploration, and decision making
  • professional job search strategies
  • recommendations, interviewing and effective self-promotion
  • choosing a major and job opportunities related to a program/major
  • finding internships, employment off campus, and summer jobs
  • graduate school exploration and applications

Students are encouraged to meet with a career coach early in their years at Lesley. In addition to providing career coaching, the CRC offers workshops on job search topics and panels featuring Lesley alumni and employers.

Handshake

To schedule a career coaching appointment, students should use Handshake–an online, one-stop resource. Handshake also contains a Resource section with information that helps students to:

  • explore professional positions
  • discover summer opportunities
  • find off-campus student employment
  • learn about local job fairs
  • search for internships
  • browse CRC career events and job fairs

The Resource section also includes information on resumes, cover letter templates, interview questions for Lesley programs, and more.
