Overview

Lynxie is Lesley University’s AI-powered assistant and a member of the Support Hub Team. Lynxie is designed to make it easier for students, faculty, and staff to find information, get answers to common questions, and connect with university resources, anytime, day or night.


Lynxie enhances access to support across the Lesley community. She does not replace human support. You can continue to contact Support Hub staff and campus offices using the same methods you use today.



What Lynxie Can Help With

Lynxie can:

  • Answer frequently asked questions

  • Provide step-by-step how-to guidance

  • Help locate university resources and services

  • Direct you to the appropriate office or the next step when additional help is needed

Lynxie is especially helpful during evenings, weekends, and university closures when staff availability may be limited.


How Lynxie Works

Lynxie is powered by Freshchat and integrated with the Support Hub Portal and Freshdesk ticketing system. Her responses are based on trusted Lesley University sources, including:

  • The Support Hub Knowledge Base

  • Lesley University catalogs

  • The Lesley University website

Lynxie continues to be trained and improved over time to expand her knowledge and increase the accuracy and usefulness of her responses.


How to Chat With Lynxie

You can start a conversation with Lynxie in several convenient ways:

  • Support Hub Portal: Visit the Support Hub Portal and select the chat icon in the lower corner of the page.

  • Lesley University Services Directory: Start a chat directly from the Services Directory.

  • Text Messaging: Text 844-952-3712 to chat with Lynxie from your mobile phone for quick questions on the go.


When to Contact a Human

If your question requires personalized assistance, involves sensitive information, or cannot be resolved through chat, Lynxie will guide you on how to reach a Support Hub team member or submit a support request. Human support remains fully available.
