When will my refund be issued?

Are you expecting a student account refund? You may qualify for an account refund due to the following scenarios:

  • an overpayment of tuition and fees, scholarship credits, and excess financial aid,
  • a change in your enrollment.

Eligible refunds are automatically generated. They process within 14 days of the date your financial aid credits to your student account. You can check Self-Service to see when your loans have disbursed (credited) to your account.

Credits resulting from a Federal Parent PLUS Loan will be refunded to the parent listed as the borrower unless the borrower has indicated to refund the student.

Students can manage their refund preferences via the Student Account Center (SAC). To visit the Student Account Center, log into Self-Service at lesley.edu/selfservice. In the Financial Information menu, select "Finances" and then "View Billing Activity and Make a Payment."
