There are two applications available on the FAFSA website. Which one do I complete?

Generally, if you are attending school between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, you will need to complete the 2025-26 FAFSA, which will require 2023 Federal Income Tax Return information. Graduate students beginning a low-residency program during summer 2025 or any courses during spring 2026, should also complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA.

If you are beginning or continuing your studies between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025, you will need to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA, which will require your 2022 Federal Income Tax Return information.
