What should I do if I receive an outside scholarship?

Did you receive an award letter or check from a scholarship organization? Remember these 3 items:

1. Be sure you've read the letter carefully. Fulfill any requirements explained in the letter so you don't miss out on the scholarship.
2. Send a copy of the check or award letter to the Lesley Financial Aid Office. You can do this by uploading it to the Support Hub via our secure dropbox.* Be sure to keep a copy for yourself.
3. When we receive the award letter, we'll add the scholarship to your account. Your scholarship will be in a "pending" status until we receive the check. After that, we'll credit the funds to your account. You should follow up with the awarding agency to ensure the check arrives.
