This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up direct deposit as your preferred method to receive your Lesley University student account refund. Direct deposit allows you to receive refunds more quickly and securely than paper checks.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log into the Student Account Center (SAC)
- To access the SAC, log into Self-Service at lesley.edu/selfservice. In the Financial Information menu, select "Finances" and then "View Billing Activity and Make a Payment."
- From here, our Secure Sign-On (SSO) process will complete the SAC login for you. Please note that if you haven't visited the SAC before, you'll be prompted to create an SAC account. This is separate from your Lesley Self-Service account.
2. Navigate to Refund Account Setup
- On the SAC home page, locate and click on the "Refund account setup" message.
3. Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- If you haven't already set up MFA, you will be prompted to complete the process.
- Choose your preferred authentication method (mobile app, text message, etc.).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the MFA setup.
- This is a one-time setup that enhances the security of your financial information.
4. Access the Direct Deposit Setup Page
- Select the "Set up a new account" button in the "Direct Deposit" section (under "Refund Methods").
5. Enter Your Bank Account and Billing Information
- Complete all required fields on the setup screen.
6. Review and Accept Terms and Conditions
- Carefully read the terms and conditions and double-check the information you provided.
- Check the "I agree" box to indicate your agreement and press "Continue" to proceed. You can also select "Print Agreement" to print a copy of the agreement for your records before you continue.
7. Confirmation
- Once submitted, you will receive confirmation that your direct deposit account has been successfully set up.
Notes to Remember
- You can update your direct deposit information at any time by returning to the Refund section.
- For security purposes, any changes to your banking information will require MFA verification.
- If you have questions or encounter issues during setup, contact us by submitting a ticket on the Support Hub.
