Enter Time by Period

Workday now allows our non-exempt, hourly colleagues, when submitting work time, to enter their time by pay period in addition to weekly.


By clicking the Enter My Time action within the My Lesley Dashboard, by default, the Enter Time by Period will be now displayed for you to select to use. 



By default, the weekly calendar will be displayed. If you want to switch to the new Period Calendar, select the Period Calendar action on the top right corner of the screen. 





You can switch between calendars if you wish to enter your time weekly by selecting Actions -> Switch Calendar.



The Actions drop-down can help perform various actions on such as Auto-fill from Prior Week and Auto-fill from Schedule on both the weekly and period calendar to enter your worked time. You still have the option to enter your work time manually on each date of the week. 


Within the time entry calendar, you can also request time off by selecting the Request Absence or Manage Absence under the Actions button. 


Please note: You may not be able to enter time in a future pay period that has not yet been open. 


The Enter Time by Period calendar displays events such as holidays and pay period information by the indication of a blue dot within the calendar day. You can view more information by hovering over the blue dot.


Once you have all your worked time entered, you will review and submit your time.
