Accessing Workday when you are separated from Lesley University

During the time of your separation, you will receive generated emails from Workday providing you importation information about your offboarding process. On and after your separation date, you will no longer be able to access Workday through Single-Sign-On. 

Two emails will provide you information on how to access Workday. 

One email will provide your Username. The other email will provide you a Direct Link to Workday and a Temporary Password. If you do not see these emails in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. 

Below are two examples of the emails you will receive providing your username, password, and link to Workday. 

Note: During your account setup, you will need your mobile phone available.

You would set up your account by clicking the hyperlink to Workday from the email with your temporary password. 

From the sign on screen, you will enter your username and temporary password.

Once you click Sign In, Workday will ask to change your password. You will enter the temporary password as the Old Password and create your own unique password following the requirements. 

Once you have changed your password, a step will come up requiring extra verification. You will need your mobile device available as you will need to set up an authentication from your phone verifying logging into Workday.

Click Set Up Now to complete the authentication step. You may click Maybe Later if you wish to set up the authentication later. If the authentication is not set up, you will only have 2 more times to sign into Workday until a verification code is required. 

Once you select Set Up Now, a screen will pop up where you will scan the QR code and set up the authentication on your mobile phone. Depending on your setup on your mobile phone, you will follow the instructions on your device confirming how you want to authenticate Workday. Once you complete those steps, you will be provided a 6 digit code that you will enter on the Workday site. 

Once you have the 6 digit code, you will click Next to enter the verification code. Click Next to complete the process. 

Once you have your authentication setup, you can now login to Workday. You have the option to remember your login credentials on the device you used to set up your account. Once you confirm if you want to Remember this Device, you will be logged into Workday and be able to review your information when needed.
