Managers in addition to creating their own learning paths, they can share paths that they have created with their team members. Sharing Learning Paths allows managers to create a learning journey for their team if they find more than one content their team should take within Workday's Learning Library.

Steps on how to create a learning path, please reference this knowledge base article (link here).

Once you have a learning path created that you would like to share, you will navigate to your Learning Experience homepage and go to your My Learning section. Find the Learning Paths section and find the path you want to share. Click the three dots on the bottom right of the path and select Share Path

A pop up will display informing you that by sharing this path, you are changing its privacy settings. Click Change Privacy to continue.

You will see the privacy settings changed and that it is now available to anyone with the link. To access the link, click into the path and click the action Share Path. It will automatically copy for you to paste and send.

Your employee will need to paste the link in their browser. Once it loads, the path will displayed. They can start the learning journey and even save the path by clicking Save to Learning Paths. You will see the path was created by you the manager as the created by will displayed on the top left.

If you no longer want the learning path to be shared, go to the path itself and click Change Privacy Settings. Then set the settings to Only Me. Click Change Privacy to save your changes. The path privacy will be updated to only you will be able to see it.

Note: If you private a path you shared with your team and they saved it, they will no longer have access to it so any changes you made, they will not see. Please be sure to communicate with your team members if you change the privacy.
