The Lesley University Laptop Program is a comprehensive service for all students, faculty, and staff to purchase a laptop and receive technical support for their personally-owned computer. Services include repair, virus removal, software installations, and component upgrades regardless of where you purchased your computer.

Student Educational Purchase + Service
Lesley University College of Art and Design majors
If you are a student at the Lesley University College of Art and Design (LUCAD), there are specific technology requirements for your program. Please visit the Laptop Purchase site and click on the correct major tab to purchase your computer. If you have questions related to your LUCAD major and the technology requirements, please contact Academic Computing Services at 617.349.8038.
All other program majors
For students in all other programs at Lesley University, there is a technology recommendation based upon requirements for accessing campus resources and essential productivity applications. Click on the All Others tab on the Laptop Purchase site to see the technology requirements recommended.
Faculty and Staff Personal Purchase + Service
Faculty and staff can take advantage of the purchase program and receive service on their personal computer (non-institutional purchase). Even if your computer was purchased elsewhere you can still receive assistance.
Rates for Computers under warranty
Any warranty eligible repairs are free.
Rates for Computers that are not under warranty
There is a diagnostic charge of $42.00 for computers that are not under warranty. If you decide that you do not want to have the computer worked on, you will only be responsible for the $42.00 charge. If you decide to have your computer repaired, there is a $63.00 labor charge, plus the cost of any parts. The $42.00 diagnostic charge will be put toward the $63.00 labor charge in that case.
