Modified on Fri, Apr 5 at 3:25 PM

Workday has introduced a whole new inbox experience. The inbox has been reimagined and is now called My Tasks. With this new enhancement, you can now perform various actions to filter and/or sort the tasks you receive in Workday.

On the Workday homepage, you will find My Tasks where the inbox was originally from. The My Tasks will be under Awaiting Your Action. You will see an overview of the tasks you have assigned to you and some you can take quick action by clicking Quick Review if applicable. You view all your tasks, click Go to My Tasks (#).

A quick way to access your My Tasks when navigating Workday is by clicking the box icon next to your profile icon.

After you click Go To My Tasks, you will see an overview of all the tasks you have assigned to you to take action on. Within this new experience, you can perform various actions such as Saved Searches, Filters, Archive, Manage Delegations, and much more.

On the left-hand side of under My Tasks, you can perform various actions to help go through your assigned tasks.

Note: If you need help setting up a Manage Delegations, please refer to the Knowledge Base Article Delegate My Tasks.

Under All Items, you see a list of all the tasks either assigned to you or delegated to you if you are a colleagues assigned delegatee. You have multiple options on how you can sort and search through your tasks if you have quite a few.

You can Favorite a task by clicking the star next to the task.

Once you click a task under All Items in your My Tasks, on the right-hand side you will see additional details on the task assigned to you. Depending on the type of task, you will be able review any additional detail and take action on it. Once you have taken action, the task should then be removed from your My Tasks.
