Lesley University has a community discount agreement with the Planet Fitness in Porter Square, located on the lower level of University Hall. The agreement covers a one-year membership at that location for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The university covers the full cost for active student athletes. There is no annual fee and there are no monthly dues.
The $149.00 rate is a bulk rate. It replaces the enrollment fee and the $49 annual maintenance fee that retail members pay. You pay it once for the year.
How to Enroll
Student Athletes
Do not sign up through the public portal, and do not pay on your own. Athletics keeps a roster of active student athletes. That roster will be sent directly to Operations and Planet Fitness. Ask your coach or the Athletics Department to confirm that your name is on the list before you go to Planet Fitness to enroll.
Students, Faculty, and Staff
- Visit or call the Porter Square Planet Fitness.
- Say that you are a Lesley student, faculty member, or staff member.
- Bring your active Lesley ID card. Staff at the gym will ask for it.
- Pay the $149.00 directly to Planet Fitness.
Common Questions
Can I use other Planet Fitness locations?
No. This agreement covers the Porter Square location only.
I already pay for a Planet Fitness membership. What do I do?
Contact the Porter Square location and ask to move your billing to the Lesley agreement. Do this whether you have a Classic or a Black Card membership. Student athletes who are paying out of pocket should do the same, since the membership should be free for them.
Who do I ask about my athlete eligibility?
Contact the Athletics Department.
Who do I ask about anything else?
Contact the Support Hub by submitting a ticket or emailing help@lesley.edu.
