How do I associate my name with my voicemail box?

Follow the steps below to associate your name with your voicemail box and your extension. This gives a caller an audible identifier when a search by last name is done on the main telephone line, or on your voicemail if no greeting is recorded.

Record your name

1. Enter your voicemail box by dialing 2222 and following the prompts: “To enter your mail box, press pound (#).” “Please enter your mailbox number.” (your four-digit extension) “Please enter your security code.” (the security code you set up)
2. Press 16.
3. Press 1 for personal options.
4. Press 5 and follow the prompts to record your name.
5. Press * when you are finished recording.
