How are time zones determined in myLesley/Blackboard?

Your time zone is set automatically by data from your device and your internet browser. In your Blackboard course, this means that the due dates, visibility dates, and calendar items are specific to your time zone

The following table outlines some common scenarios related to due dates and time zones.

Why am I seeing a different due date/time than my instructor and/or classmates?

Check your date and time settings. If you are in a different time zone than your classmates (even just while traveling), your device will typically update accordingly.

How do I change my time zone?

On most computers and mobile devices, your time zone is set automatically. However, you can manually change your time zone in your settings.
