How do I place an external call?
The following directions are for dialing from physical desk phones on campus.
Note: If you are calling from a MiCollab computer phone or from the Agent client on your computer, you don’t have to dial the 7 before the number. The systems automatically place the 7 before the number.
Local and long distance
Dial 7, the area code, and the 7-digit number.
Toll free numbers
For toll free numbers (area codes 800 and 888): dial 7, then the 800 or 888 toll free number.
International numbers
Dial 7, 011, the country code, the city code, and the number.
Warning: You must be authorized for international calls. Email phones@lesley.edu to request access to make long-distance calls.
