Message light keeps flashing even though there are no messages in voicemail

If the message light on your phone keeps flashing even though you have no messages in your voicemail, follow these steps to make it stop.

How to reset the message light

1. Leave yourself a voicemail, or have someone else leave you a voicemail. Remember to let the call go to voicemail if you are having someone leave you a message.
2. Log into your voicemail and press 5 to listen to the message. While you are listening to the message, press 3 to delete the message.
3. When the message has finished, press 9 and 9 again to leave your voicemail. Your message light will stop flashing.
